P&B and Ovington boats are pleased to announce that the build of the P&B owned Scorpion is to be taken over by Ovington Boats.
Oliver Wells P&B boats manager and active Scorpion sailor stated, "Pinnell & Bax will continue to fit out the hull to the standard that has seen it take the vast majority of National Championships over the past decade with the P&B moulds proving quick through a range of builders. We are confident that the move to a world class builder like Ovington boats will ensure this remains the case and as we all know Chris has a strong history in the class!"
Chris Turner MD of Ovington boats commented, "The close working relationship between Ovington boats and P&B has been fostered through many classes and over many years. The Scorpion has been very close to my heart for a number of years and as an active sailor in the class I am delighted to be taking on the build of the P&B Scorpion again."
