Henri Lloyd has been pioneering the development of fabrics, garment engineering and product design for over 40 years, and we will be launching our 2008 ranges at the London Boat Show @ Excel.
For 2008, new technologies have been introduced on all aspects of the collection, where conventional design has been challenged and products have been streamlined, saving weight where possible and building in protection where needed. Henri Lloyd have also designed a range of clothing that can also be used by the more recreational sailor, where the high level of technicality, functionality and design is maintained and additional features added. The key to successful sailing gear is to offer protection that maximises the wearer's comfort and performance in extreme conditions, whether racing or cruising. To ensure this, Henri Lloyd has a continuous development programme to ensure all new advances, designs and fabrics have been tested and proven in a range of climatic conditions.
By working closely alongside our sailing ambassadors on the development of each range, including round the world sailors Sir Robin Knox-Johnston and Dee Caffari on the Ocean / Offshore range, silver medallists; Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield on the Dinghy / Sportsboat range and also Ben Ainslie on the Atmosphere 360 range, has resulted in the most innovative collection ever developed by Henri Lloyd.
Henri Lloyd will also be launching a number of new ‘Hero’ products within each range at the London Boat Show, in particular the Atmosphere Jacket – which received a special mention at the DAME Awards in 2007.
