Yachting Pages, the world’s leading superyacht directory, is thrilled to announce the winners of its Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) competition, run at its stand in Florida this October.

First prize of an eye-catching, full-page colour advertisement in Yachting Pages’ superyacht directory – the USA, the Americas and Caribbean edition – goes to MTN Satellite Communications. A valued and existing client based in Miramar, Florida MTN has just celebrated 30 years of innovation in satellite communications technology.

This additional exposure in Yachting Pages, whose directories are delivered – often by hand – to over 60,000 captains and crew annually, is worth £1,900 (approximately $3,000 USD).

Kerry Pettitt, director of sales EMEA and Asia at MTN Satellite Communications commented, 'We were excited to be picked as the winner of this first prize. Yachting Pages is a resource that reaches captains and ETOs who have the critical job of making sure communications at sea is better than perfect!'

Second prize of a quarter-page colour advert goes to Servowatch, based in Coral Springs (Florida) and Essex (UK). Innovators at the forefront of advanced and integrated yacht control systems, Servowatch is renowned for its navigation, monitoring and multimedia packages in both new-build and retro-fit markets.

Featuring in Yachting Pages’ directories and website will get Servowatch’s award-winning product portfolio onto the radar of key decision makers throughout the global superyacht industry.

Third prize of a mini-showcase feature on http://www.yachting-pages.com, the online superyacht directory of over 12,000 businesses, goes to Broward Shipyard, a full-service shipyard located in Florida’s desirable Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale.

Julia Budniak, marketing manager at Yachting Pages said, 'The competition and our presence at FLIBS brought many new clients to our attention, and gave us a great opportunity to meet and catch up with many of our existing clients. The boat show enables Yachting Pages to put its user-friendly directories and website under the noses of hundreds of key superyacht customers.

'The competition was a brilliant idea and we were delighted to inform MTN Satellite Communications, Servowatch and Broward Shipyard about their fabulous prizes and long may our relationships with these three winners continue.'

The Yachting Pages team now shifts its focus to the autumn photography competition, ‘The Superyacht Shot’, which aims to give added exposure to budding or established marine photographers with the first prize of a cover shot on their upcoming 2013-2014 directories.
