Pendragon VI launched in Auckland

Nigel Price sent these images of the new Pendragon VI, a Laurie Davidson design for US West Coast based owner, John MacLaurin, who has been a long time supporter of the New Zealand designer.

Pendragon VI was built at Ian Franklin Boatbuilders in Christchurch. Construction is of pre preg carbon over a Nomex core. The boat was shipped to Auckland for launching and rigged with a www.southernspars.com!Southern_Spars carbon fibre rig.

Built by four times America's Cup champion Mattie Mason, the new OK shape is designed for the heavier sailor, but will work for lighter sailors, too. The design has a lot of new features.
