America's Cup- Am-Cam Video of Artemis Racing's final run

by Sail-World on 11 May 2013
AC72 testing in San Francisco south bay. Artemis Racing April 2013, Alameda, USA Sander van der Borch / Artemis Racing http://www.sandervanderborch.com

Video shot on May 9, 2013 of Artemis Racing's final run on San Francisco Bay, before she had her fatal capsize later in the day.

The Am-Cam video shows her sailing quite normally.

Wind was about 18-20kts. Current was a moderate flood, which means water was fairly flat. Overall typical spring/summer conditions for SF Bay. 10-20 minutes later the boat capsized and suffered massive structural failure.

Second shows Oracle Team USA sailing very quickly in a fresh breeze, easily the fastest we have seen to date.
