The first in a series of NSW Laser Class Training took place on Saturday 4 February at Woollahra Sailing Club.

11 Laser sailors enjoyed a day soaking up information from two of the Counties top performing Laser sailors; Ash Brunning who finished Seventh at the ISAF Sailing World Championship in Perth in December last year and Gabrielle King, the two times ISAF Youth World Champion in the Laser Radial Class.

Alan Booth who has switched class from the Contender to the Laser Radial in order to compete in the Laser Masters World Championship in Queensland next month said, 'the day was invaluable, I learned more in one day than I have in my entire lifetime of sailing! The coaches, Gabrielle and Ash were excellent, they have great communication skills and share their knowledge with passion'

This weekend there are two opportunities for you to gain input from World Class Laser sailors. On Saturday the current NSW Laser State Champion, James Burman and Gabrielle King will be coaching at Hunters Hill Sailing Club and on Sunday, Ash Brunning will be coaching at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. The training runs from 10am to 4pm.

There are just two places available for each so get in quick.

Training costs just $50 per person per day with thanks to subsidy from Yachting NSW and the NSW & ACT Laser Class Association
