Inaugural Xiamen Boat Show opens Friday 7 November

by David Winter on 3 Nov 2008
Co-sponsored by the Xiamen Yacht Building Association, the city’s first-ever boat show will be held 7-9 November in the Wuyuan Bay Yacht Basin. Over 60 exhibitors are planning to display power and sail boats on both land and in-water exhibits.

An island city located on the Taiwan Strait, Xiamen is a favourite domestic tourist destination and the location of China’s largest recreational marine project, Deep Blue Marina. The Wuyuan Bay Yacht Basin is conveniently located minutes from Gaoqi International Airport.

Concurrent with the show will be the finals of the annual China Club Challenge Cup and the J/80 Xiamen Invitational Yachting Regatta. Show hours are 9am-6pm daily.
