Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show for new models, revolutionary products

Set to be held from March 23-25 at the RNA Showgrounds, the show will welcome 91 exhibitors from the marine industry, with many using the occasion to launch new product lines to a keen audience of boaties and anglers.

Sea Jay Alumnium Boats is set to uncover its new flagship model, the 7.6 Pursuit, which will head up the Plate Xtreme fleet.

The cabin plate boat has been created with genuine offshore capabilities, including a huge 500L capacity fuel tank housed within its own fuel cell.

Its substructure has been designed to handle any sea conditions. Its dry weight comes in at 1500kg and it features 5mm bottoms and transom, 4mm sides, 5mm longitudinal stringers and 4mm solid bulkheads.

Sealed buoyancy chambers and foam filled cavities have been added for maximum floatation and safety, all while complying with stringent Australian standards.

The 7.6 Pursuit is furnished with a host of premium features including solid alloy hardtop, hydraulic steering, a large live bait tank, heavy duty ladder and dive door and carpeted alloy floors.

Vindicator Quality Aluminium Boats will be attending with their latest release, the 6.8m Half Cabin.

Roomy 1.9m bunks and a cockpit length of 3.5m make it a vessel that many fishermen would love to own.

Vindicator Boats are built locally by Watson’s Marine Centre in nearby Gympie.

A world-exclusive release will ensure the exhibit of Australian-owned company Savwinch is buzzing with activity.

Savwinch will reveal its Electronic Fast Fall System (EFF), which allows an anchor to drop up to three times faster than regular speeds, is as fast as a free-fall system and is clutch-free.

Available in five sizes to suit boats from 5-15 metres, the Savwinch comes with an adjustable variable-speed knob on a water and corrosion resistant pre-wired electrical box.

The EFF can also be fitted to any new or existing Savwinch, with installation available direct from the local manufacturer.

Visitors will be delighted to learn they are supporting an 100% Australian business, with all manufacturing, design and assembly completed locally.

Hardon Fishing’s all-new Hardon Rod Holder aims to meet the needs of fishermen by offering a gunwale-mounted rod holder that is both versatile and functional, while remaining super-tough.

Features from the rail-mounted swiveling models and fixed flush-mount holders are combined with a one-touch locking mechanism and a patented ball-in-socket swivel mechanism.

Quality aluminium parts CNC-machined from solid billet stock are anodized for durability and feature stainless steel fittings, with the Australian-owned manufacturer standing tough behind its 5-year warranty.

The art of casting is made simple by the popular EZ Throw Cast Net, which will introduce a new size to its lineup suited especially to the kids.

The 6-foot spread, 3-foot drop net is ideal for budding anglers who will find it easy to correctly cast and haul in live bait and prawns.

The EZ Throw Cast Net has been a showstopper at previous events, with suppliers regularly returning to their warehouse to re-stock.

A 10-inch aluminium ring mounted at centre of the net creates the required centrifugal force to ensure a perfect, quick and hassle-free cast.

There will be a 30-minute looped service running between Central, Roma Street and Fortitude Valley stations on Saturday the 24th of March and Sunday the 25th of March.

The first service of the day will depart Central Station at 9am and the last service of the day will depart from the RNA Showgrounds at 6:30pm.
