Go deep with Yo-Zuri’s Hydro Magnum, the one lure for the job

by Jarrod Day on 9 Dec 2011
Yo-Zuri’s Hydro Magnum is a proven Blue Water lure. Jarrod Day
When it comes to offshore fishing, nothing is better than kicking back watching the tips of a couple of rods in their holders pulsate as your pull a lure through the water. Trolling is a very successful fishing technique and is undertaken right around the country for a large variety of species.

When it comes to offshore fishing, often it is the larger lure that catches the fish and nothing can be more exhilarating than watching a rod tip bow and hearing the reel scream.

Finding the right lure in this day and age can be challenging as tackle shop walls are often full of different brands. Although any lure will catch fish, when it comes to offshore fishing, you need one that will not only swim, but stand up to the more brutal of species.

While I have pulled many different lures behind a boat, it is the Yo-Zuri 180mm Hydro Magnum that has proven itself as a worthy pelagic lure.

Yo-Zuri’s Hydro Magnum is computer-aided in design to produce an incredibly lifelike action no matter the trolling speed. The body shape has been technically tuned to mimic the action of potential baitfish.

The Hydro Magnum also has over-sized 3D eyes and realistic holographic colours all to add to that realistic look.

The through-wire construction makes this trolling lure extremely durable and able to stand up to the toughest of species.

Reaching depths of up to 9 meters, the Yo-Zuri hydro Magnum is one lure every offshore angler should have in their arsenal.

It doesn’t matter where I fish in the blue water; Yo-Zuri’s Hydro Magnum always makes it into my tackle arsenal. If you’re heading offshore, have a look at the extensive colour and size range of Hydro Magnums and grab one that suits your next fishing adventure.
