General Synopsis – High-pressure (1024 mb) positioned central Tasman Sea will move east to lie over New Zealand by Sunday. Low-pressure (1004 mb) overhead the Chatham Islands will clear to the east.

Winds: SSW 7 – 11 knots.

Fine weather with cloud slowly building throughout the day. Air temperatures 22 - 24C.
Seas slight to moderate.

Outlook for Sunday: Light winds with a NE sea breeze.
