Keith Hanson seals the deal with New Ocean Taiwan New Ocean Yachts Keith Hanson www.newoceanyachts.com.au
Keith and Ryan Hanson, the names behind New Ocean Yachts Australia, have entered into a major agreement with New Ocean Yachts Taiwan that will see a revolutionary range of flybridge and sports yachts released onto the market over the coming months.

Keith, Ryan and the team have agreed to significant research and development investment with the renowned big boat building team from New Ocean Yachts, that will deliver the best built, most modern and exceptional value for money 54-61 foot boats on the market.

The team at New Ocean Yachts has a long and distinguished history of building many world class super and mega yachts for owners across the globe. This experience, backed by a team of the world's leading nautical architects, engineers and master boat builders, will see the team apply their experience to the development of this exciting new range.

The New Ocean Yachts flybridge series will include a traditional flybridge cockpit design, as well as the unique features of their 65 flybridge models, offering a flowing mezzanine dining area, spacious tender garage and large hydraulic swim platform. The Sports Yacht and Sports Euro range will reflect the master craftsmanship and impeccable finish as seen in their other models, with the Sports Euro offering an open bridge option to the sports yacht range.

The range will also feature cutting edge technology, with the application of a kevlar reinforced engine stringer system throughout the hull, offering superior strength through light weight materials. This state of the art system was designed by the team at New Ocean Yachts to minimise vibration whilst increasing hull strength. Performance is a keystone approach when building their range of boats, but the exceptional interior layout, design and immaculate finish will see these boats surpass any other range on the market.

The first of the new models to be released will be the 54 Flybridge, which will feature a large mezzanine dining area that extends through large sliding glass bulkhead doors to a spacious saloon and aft galley layout. The internal staircase will lead to skippers heaven, where the flybridge will house a helm with the very latest technology and electronics.

Moving below decks you will find a class leading full beam master stateroom and the option of 2 or 3 cabin layouts. Meticulously finished timber-work will present this boat with the quality you would expect from a super yacht or leading European big boat brand.

Following on from the superyacht inspired engineering of the larger models in the range, the 54 will feature truly reliable shaft drive engines, with the option of joystick controls to ensure ultimate performance and handling while underway or when in port.

'For many years we have been looking for a partner to help us deliver the exceptional standards and quality of build we pride ourselves with in our super and mega yachts, into a smaller range of boats. As a team we are very excited to be working with Keith and Ryan to deliver a class leading range of flybridge boats to the Australian and international market, built to our super yacht standards', said Jason Kao, Director at New Ocean Yachts.

The first 54 Flybridge is currently under construction at the New Ocean Yachts facility in Taiwan, and will release at Sydney Internal Boat Show in 2012.
