The first Scoundrel

Scoundrel is owned by John Alexander, he bought this boat just over two years ago in Tasmania.
It is a fully decked out timber boat. It is a Kaufmann 50 racing cruiser, and was built for circumnavigation.
The only race to date that Scoundrel has been in, is the challenging Three Peaks Race where it was the biggest vessel.
Owner and skipper John Alexander, has skippered many boats, but this will be his first time racing his own yacht. He plans after Lord Howe to race in this years Coffs Harbour and the Telstra Sydney to Hobart.
With in the next two years Scoundrel will makes its way to the Caribbean, and will be a part of the 2004 Antigua race week and then on to Chile.
