Victorian 29er sailors causing a stir in Europe

Victorian 29er sailors James Sly and Tom Dwyer are taking Europe by storm.
In there first international competition the German 29er Nationals they have finished second overall on 33 points with five bullets in 12 races.
With Sly and Dwyer having to count an eighth in their scoreline they missed out on top spot by just two points to Paris and Hans Henken from the USA. Fellow VIS sailor Tess Lloyd sailing with Lewis Duncan finished ninth overall from a fleet of 44 boats.
This event was a warm up for the 29er Europeans which will see the teams travel to Switzerland and Locarno Yacht Club to compete in what will be the biggest fleet of 29ers the sailors will have raced in since the 29er Worlds in Melbourne back in 2008. With163 boat registered including the Henken siblings Sly and Dwyer will be looking to go one better.
