by TetraMedia Marine Group on 3 Jun 2011
Mark Rothfield Powerboat-World.com Editor SW
This week, we announce a major change to the Powerboat-World scene with Founding Editor Bob Wonders taking a step back from the helm.

We are very pleased to announce that Mark Rothfield is assuming the editorial role from this week. Mark will be well-known to many Australian and New Zealand readers as a long time editor of Modern Boating and a man with genuine hands-on boating industry experience, across powerboating and sailing, his mainstream and marine magazine contributions are highly valued.

He has already been aboard the good ship Powerboat-World and was a member of our team at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and the news of his new role was very well received within the Boating industry.

Mark is looking forward to making contact with many of our readers and maintaining the high editorial standards demanded.

We are also delighted to inform our readership that Bob has not been lost to us, he will remain involved and will continue to cover such events as offshore powerboat racing, the recreational boating scene, particularly in the United States and we’ll certainly be enjoying his company at major boat shows.

So, Bob, enjoy your Harley and we shall continue to look forward to interesting copy from time to time.

And Mark, welcome aboard, may you enjoy your new role
