Wildwind Holiday's - Vassiliki Watersports Festival.

How often do you get a chance to see exactly what you are doing wrong on the race course and why others get ahead of you?

And how often do you get the chance to get training from the best coaches and sailors in the world – willing to share their secrets of success with you?

If you’re a Laser sailor and can get away from it all for a week starting May 1st you’ll get a chance to take a serious jump in your sailing skills with Skandia Team GBR head coach, Chris Gowers. Chris not only coached Paul Goodison to a Gold medal in China, he was also awarded High Performance Coach of the Year 2008.

If you’re a multihull sailor your chance comes a week later on May Eigth with an opportunity to not only get top tips but have the current Tornado European champion, and former 470 World champion, Kostas Trigonis come out on board with you and point out exactly what your strong and weak points are – and there’s no faster way of improving your technique with Kostas’s vast experience guiding your touch at the helm.

Both training events take place at Wildwind Holidays’ famous location in Vassiliki on the Greek island of Lefkas - and prices start at a meagre £599 including flights from London Gatwick or from €449 if you make your own way there.

What’s more if you join the Laser week you’ll be training in brand new 2011 Lasers and on the catamaran course you’ll have a chance to try out Wildwind’s new Hobie Wildcat, as well as Tigers, Fox, Tornado and a host of smaller cats too.

And, after you’ve absorbed all it’s possible to in the space of one week why not enter one of the Wildwind sponsored events later on in the summer:

For example:

Wildwind Holidays British F18, Hurricane and Sheerwater Nationals 14-21 August at Yaverland SC, I-O-W

Vassiliki Watersports Festival – 30 June to 2 July

East Coast Piers Race 10th July
