Cairns Marine Marina - untouched by Cyclone Yasi Ports North Far North Queensland Ports Corp
Some good news at last. Cairns Marlin Marina is open for business and fully functional after Cyclone Yasi vented its wrath on Far North Queensland last week.
The Marina is part of Cairns and the surrounding area that is fully open for business having weathered the storm and returned to blue skies and tropical breezes.
Cairns Marlin Marina was evacuated in accordance with the Cyclone Contingency Plan and boats were safely moored in the mangroves or cyclone moorings in Trinity Inlet.
The marina was left untouched by the giant Category Five Cyclone Yasi and following a full inspection of the facility all boats returned safely to their berths.
The Cairns Marlin Marina, the premier marina facility in Far North Queensland, provides 217 berths for commercial and private vessel owners including superyachts berth up to 100metres.
