Northbridge Sailing Club Teams Racing Michael Chittenden
Last Sunday Northbridge Sailing Club had its first attempt at Teams Racing. This event was aimed at bringing all the different classes sailed at the club together, to compete, and socialise in the same type of boat for the day.
It gave every member a chance to sail in the Club’s new Pacers which have been targeted not only for training but also for team’s racing.
We had perfect weather, and everyone from the very young, to the not so young had a fantastic day on the water. It was such a great opportunity for mums and dads to sail with their children, and for friends who would normally be sailing against one another to sail as a team.
'Can we do it again soon' seemed to be the talk at the end of a very long, tiring and fun day.
