Fremantle Boat Show - one month to go!

by Exibit Exhibitions & Publishing on 20 Jan 2011
Freo Boat Show - find a boat that fits you! SW
For the sixth year running, Fremantle, the centre of WA marine industry, will host the Fremantle Boat Show, Friday 18 to Sunday 20 February 2011.

While some Queensland companies have had to cancel because of stock issues, exhibitor numbers are 'about the same as last year', confirm organisers.

The event will be held at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and Esplanade Park, on-water and land displays.
The theme for this year is 'find a boat that fits you'. For three days, the show will display the very best on-water and on-land displays in the heart of Fremantle’s famous maritime precinct.

Organisers, Exibit Exhibitions & Publishing say 'it’s the show with a stunning and unbeatable setting: a deep water harbour, picturesque boardwalks, a water-side park, seafood restaurants and the enticing smell of the ocean.
Fishing Boat Harbour will be packed with luxury motor boats and yachts for visitors to see and explore close up. Just metres away on Esplanade Reserve Park, you’ll find a huge range of boats and boating equipment on display. It’s the perfect place to see everything from outboard motors, jet skies, trailer boats and watersport accessories, plus tips and advice and 'one off' show specials.

Yachts including Vicsail’s Catalina 309 and others from its award winning range. Plus yachts big and small including from Eco Yachts and its best selling cruising boat - MacGregor 26, and Seagreen Marine showing West Wight Potter.
Get up close to the Fountaine Pajot big cats from Multihull Solution, also Seawind Catamarans with the Seawind 1250 at the Fremantle Boat Show to be seen for the first time in WA!

This really is your opportunity to find a boat that fits you or perhaps enquire about boat partnership opportunities from Boat Equity at the Boat Equity jetty. Your chance to live the boating life on a Fairline Squadron 65.
On land, see trailer boats, RIBs and inflatables including displays from West Ribs, WA Power Boats, Midway Marine, Commodore Marine (Sandbar 1500 and 1700), Challenge Marine and Westerberg Marine including the new 7.3m V Berth Cabin ( entrant for 2011 Boat of the Year).

For the watersport enthusiast see Hobie paddleboards and kayaks, the 12volt diving system from Powerdive and jetskis including Jet Power’s Yamaha WaveRunner.

Visitors can get up to date tips and advice from Freo Volunteer Sea Rescue and Department of Fishing and Department of Transport, find out about training from beginners up to Yachtmaster with South West Yacht Charters, insurance from Club Marine, and exciting, new eco-marine products by Solvit Group.
