MIAA intermediate Course dates and details

The Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA) is pleased to announce that the popular Intermediate Marina Management Course will be held 20-24 March 2011 at The Vibe Hotel, Milsons Point, Sydney.
Registrations for the course are being accepted now and will close on 20 February 2010. Please see details on the Bellingham Marine Scholarship.
The 4.5 day residential course is packed with learning opportunities. Through discussion, debate and sharing of ideas, everyone who attends this course will broaden their knowledge and improve workplace practices.

* Field trip to inspect and critique nearby marinas
* Marina and boatyard industry networking
* Networking with peers and colleagues from Australia and overseas

* Essential course within career pathway to internationally recognised Certified Marina Operator, Certified Marina Professional and Certified Marina Manager.
The Intermediate Marina Management - Bellingham Marine Scholarship is available to MIAA Members. The Scholarship will cover all costs (travel excluded) of attending the course. Applications for the Scholarship are due in by 5pm Friday 4 February 2011. Everyone is encouraged to apply. More at www.marinas.net.au
This course requires the applicant to have experience of a least one full year working either as a marina manager or in a marina leadership position, performing day-to-day onsite work in a marina of 50 or more berths. Or 3 years in a leadership position in a marina affiliated company.
