Overload puts in another magnificent performance

Overload, the Elliott 9 metre, once again put in a magnificent performance this weekend to win the monohull division in the 310 mile RAYC Round White Island Race.
Sailing double handed, as a qualifier for the 2 Handed Round North Island Race held in Feb 2011, owners Matt and Scott Randell, finished first monohull on line , first on handicap, and first in short handed division.
The race was sailed in a variety of conditions. The first half downwind in wind range 20-30 knots and the second half of the race was predominantly light airs. Overload completed the race in 45 Hrs:8 mins:13 secs.
Finish time was 7 hours 7 minutes ahead of the second monohull Galeforce an Elliott 1050.
