Lowrance Introduces New IceMachine Navico http://www.navico.com
Lowrance, a world-leading brand in marine electronics since 1957 and GPS navigational systems since 1992, announced today the latest additions to its popular ice-fishing product line, the redesigned X67C IceMachine™ and a new Ice Fishing Kit.

Designed for performance and flexibility, the X67C color fishfinder and ice-fishing kit provide anglers with high-quality, yearlong fishing options, whether anglers are on the ice or in a boat. The perfect winter fishing accessory, the bundled kit is also available separately to house other select Lowrance fishfinders.

'Our new ice-fishing products offer winter anglers the most advanced fishfinding technology on the market and the option to use their current sonar system all year long,' said Louis Chemi, chief operating officer for Navico Americas. 'Consistent with our legacy of innovative performance, the redesigned X67C IceMachine offers the ultimate in ease-of-use and reliability.'

Compact and attractively priced, the Lowrance X67C IceMachine fishfinder features a 3.5-inch, 256-color, transflective, quarter VGA, TFT display for superior viewing that will not fade or slow down in temperatures as low as negative 20-degrees Fahrenheit. The unit is designed with color palette options that offer maximum detail, and includes a special ice mode that makes it easy to change color-palette for greater visibility in various ambient light conditions, as well as make adjustments to flasher-sensitivity adjustments. The X67C IceMachine includes a weighted 200-kHz, bullet-shaped ice transducer with 20-degrees of coverage and depth capability to 600 feet. The X67C is also compatible with an optional Skimmer® transducer with a suction-cup mount for year-round boating use.

The new Lowrance Ice Fishing Kit comes bundled with the X67C IceMachine, and is also sold separately for use with the Lowrance M68C, Elite-5, HDS-5 or previously purchased X67C fishfinders. A Lowrance-exclusive, the kit’s water-repellent soft nylon bag features a sealed battery and a charger. The Ice Fishing Kit has adjustable mounting-height options to elevate the display above the ice or boat deck for easier fishfinder access and control. With slots for two StowAway® tackle trays, the pack provides quick access to lures, weights and hooks – along with the added efficiency of side mesh pockets for expanded storage options. The Lowrance Ice Fishing Kit also provides a convenient transducer and cord-positioning system to minimize the hassle of removing the transducer and bag from the ice hole when a fish is hooked.

The Lowrance IceMachine X67C and Ice Fishing Kit are available from authorized Lowrance dealers throughout the United States and have suggested retail prices of $299 and $149, respectively. For more information on the new IceMachine products, Lowrance and the entire Lowrance line of marine electronics, or to locate an authorized Lowrance dealer, please visit www.lowrance.com.
