Dehler 41 Dehler
Dehler Yachts have always been a frontrunner in design, new technical solutions, in quality, as performance cruising yachts, and - needless to say - on race courses.

At seventh of September 2010, the Dehler-Race-Day of the ORCi World Championships in Flensburg, North Germany, Dehler Yachts of Freienohl and the design-office Judel/Vrolijk & Co took the opportunity to present the latest project to engaged international competitors: The new Dehler 41.

The performance cruiser racer will be very competitive under the ORC and IRC rules and its design and engineering will provide very good all-round qualities. As well the 41 will be a beautiful, fast and easy to handle cruising yacht.

After carefully studied the competition between 38 and 45 foot, Judel/Vroiljk & Co under the guidance of famous head-designer Rolf Vrolijk started to develop this new boat and now published first ideas and basic numbers.

The boat will be equipped with a different keel/sail plan/gear-setup, to take care of the type of use, and customers needs.

So the Dehler 41 could be a safe fast cruising yacht, an easy to handle club racer and a high competitive racer for international events. The multiple purpose usage is a strategiy for all Dehler yachts.

The research process by the yard about tooling, interior layouts, equipment and modern and effective building processes is not completely finished yet, but this boat will not only be competitive on the water in both, racing and cruising, it will as well be competitive in the price. Latest calculations shows a first pricing under 180.000 Euros ex Vat for the standard boat.

The launching date is not finally fixed because of ongoing researches and fine tuning works. As well capacities of model building could be a limiting factor. But Dehler representatives and a lot of interested customers likes the boat sailing in 2011.
