Some Space Still Available at the GTA's Only Fall Boat Show

Port Credit In-Water Boat Show Andy Adams
Potential exhibitors will be relieved to know that there is room on the hard and even a few slips still available for the 20th anniversary of the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show – the only fall boat show in the GTA.

Not just a ‘new boats' show, the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show has always featured a healthy percentage of used power and sail boats. Well timed at the end of August (27-29th), the show is a great place to sell off any remaining 2010 product.

Show costs are extremely affordable. Docks are still available on T-Dock north at $300 for a 25' slip. Slips on T-Dock can be bought in bulk: 4 slips plus a 10X10 booth for $1300. Bulk boat displays on the hard begin at 1,000 feet for $2.00 per square foot. Booth space begins at $300 for a 10X10 booth.

But the show is not just about boats. There are numerous boat-related land displays of marine products and services. There is the ever popular seminar tent featuring speakers on cruising, hands-on-learning and safety. And unique to the Port Credit Boat Show, there is a marine consignment tent. Boaters bring their ‘gently used' products for sale at the show - all proceeds go to charity.

An aggressive consumer-focused advertising and promotion campaign has been in motion since beginning May, 2010. It will encompass TV, radio, print and internet advertising. Our internet reach will include social media tools such as Facebook; Twitter; free internet calendar sites and the Port Credit Boat Show blog – where show features and exhibitors are highlighted. Breakfast Television will be on-hand again this year, televising directly from the show, Friday, August 27th at 6AM.

Hosted at Port Credit Harbour Marina in Mississauga, ON, the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show is strategically located in the heart of Lake Ontario boat country. Within 2 hours of South Western Ontario; Muskoka; Georgian Bay and the South Eastern Ontario, the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show is easily accessible by highway; public transit and water. Local motels and eateries are close at hand, or exhibitors can stay on their boats. The Port Credit Harbour Marina is a full-service marina with full changing facilities. And there are numerous other show support services including free parking, tables and chairs, canopies (installation included), hydro and internet access available on request.
