Elan Impression 444 at Evening launch celebrations - Launch of the Elan Impression 444 Elan Marine Moldan
Elan's new cruising model, the Impression 444 is a robust fast cruising yacht design that speaks refined elegance. The new model offers the pleasures of deluxe cruising and entertaining for family and friends whether it be day sailing, extended cruising - coastal or offshore - in true comfort and quality assurance.

Launched in May, the new 444 is the natural progress after six years of outstanding sales results following Elan's successful entry on the market with their first cruising line model, the Impression 434 design by Rob Humphreys.

This design introduced the revolutionary semi deck saloon concept to the series produced market and offered outstanding comfort and luxurious cruising while maintaining excellent sailing performance and experience.

Regional importers who attended the new model's launch and sea trials in Europe and report the sailing qualities and powerful rig configuration follows that of the successful 434 and Elan's new hi tech composite custom wheel design provides an even more comfortable feel to the helm.

'Elan has created an outstanding looking cruising yacht with an impeccable level of detail, finish and comfort. The 444 is an absolue pleasure to sail. They go to great lengths to deliver a rewarding sailing experience with high level quality throughout their models', comments Navsail's director Rod Parry.

The boat presents the many fine attributes that carry through Elan's cruising range; specifically designed hi- tech vacuum infused hull construction incorporating a big boat bilge, superior keel fixing and substantial rudder bearing housing carrying a stainless steel stock; the build of the boats is certified by Germanischer Lloyd.

Clean modern lines flow through the new model, the exceptionally generous interior space and headroom combined with the fine craftsmanship and detailing of the cabinetry are stand-out features and provide a distinct sophisticated ambience to the interior. The deck window design offers more light, visibility and ventilation for the cruising couple and family.

The 444 offers a choice of four interior layouts with an extensive options list available to individually customise.

Water, fuel and stores capacity are plentiful for extended cruising while the proven excellent thermal properties of the range provide added climate comfort.

The stern ‘Chardonnay seats' are a favoured spot to sit back and enjoy the pleasures of cruising in style, then whilst lying at anchor the transom is designed to open down to a spacious swimming platform offering easy access to the water. Pure Bliss!
