Whitsunday Rent A Yacht offers you the chance to sail the beautiful Whitsundays.

Sail the Whitsundays in winter and you may spot humpback whales as they migrate north to calve and breed in the warm, sheltered Whitsunday waters.

These majestic, 40,000kg gentle giants pass through the Whitsundays between July and September on their journey from Antarctica. Best spots to whale-watch include the bays and inlets of the northern islands, particularly around Hayman Island’s Blue Pearl and Butterfly Bays.

Sightings at this time are almost a daily occurrence within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park area. Winter charterers are often treated to displays of breaching, diving and frolicking while snorkelers and swimmers may be lucky enough to hear whales’ songs underwater. Boats and people must remain at least 300 metres away.

Ask about whale-watching in the Whitsundays. Call Whitsunday Rent A Yacht on 1800 075 000 (within Australia) or +61-7-49 469232 (international).
