In a first for the Australian Boat Show Circuit, Isuzu Ute has signed on with the Boating Industry Associations of Australia and Marine Queensland for a multi-show sponsorship deal for the 2010 Boat Show Season.

Marine Queensland, on behalf of the Australian Marine Industries Federation (AMIF) has negotiated a sponsorship package with Isuzu Ute which will recognise the Isuzu D-Max Ute as the official tow-vehicle of this year’s Brisbane and Darwin Boat Shows.

'We are extremely pleased to have Isuzu Ute on board this year. We believe that Isuzu Ute and the BIA’s and Marine Queensland share a similar commitment to the boating and fishing public of Australia' said Don Jones, CEO of Marine Queensland.

'Boat Shows are all about promoting boating and helping people to get out on the water, this ties in perfectly with Isuzu’s D-Max Ute. With its 3-tonne towing capacity it goes seamlessly from work to play with a single boat trailer hook up.'

'Isuzu UTE Australia is excited to share in the 2010 Australian Boat Show circuit,' said Cornelius Ionescu, Marketing and Events Co-ordinator of Isuzu Ute Australia, 'Darwin is a particularly strong market for us and we are thrilled to be a part of the Brisbane Boat Show’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.'

'Being recognised as the ‘Tow Vehicle of Choice’ for boaties around Australia is a great way for us to show our commitment to delivering a high performing and reliable Ute. We love the outdoors and the Isuzu D-Max makes it easier to get out there and enjoy it.'

The Brisbane Boat Show (www.brisbaneboatshow.com.au) is on from the 26th to the 29th of August at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Bank.

The Darwin Boat Show (www.darwinboatshow.com.au) is on from the third to fifth of September at the Darwin Convention Centre.
