Haines Hunter is buzzing in the lead-up to July's Melbourne Boat Show where it will release several new models, including the re-launch of the popular SeaWasp.

The next-generation SeaWasp is an adaptation of the original version, which the company manufactured up until the mid-'80s. Re-designed and set to rival the pressed aluminium boat market in price and versatility, the 2010 SeaWasp will initially be available in a 3.95m version, with 4.45m and 5.0m models also on the drawing board.

Suitable as a lake, river, estuary or bay boat, the re-introduction of Haines Hunter's SeaWasp will please boaters all over the country, with the mid-'80s version in constant demand on the used boat market.

Also currently in R&D and set for release at the show is Haines Hunter's brand new 560 Classic. The 560 Classic concept is taking excellent shape and will make a big impact in the mid-range family/fishing boat market.

A step up from the ProFish series, the new 560 Classic has all the creature comforts of a typical family boat, including a spacious cabin for the kids to play, while the huge cockpit has been specifically designed for serious fishing.

The innovative new hull design will eat the short, sharp chop commonly experienced on bays to provide a very smooth ride, at the same time being capable of heading offshore in good conditions. Rated to a maximum 150hp four-stroke, the package can also be easily towed behind the family sedan.

Last, but certainly not least, Haines Hunter will launch its much-anticipated Limited Series at the Melbourne Boat Show. Available in a 585R, 600R and 650R, the Limited Series introduces the company's new Structural Safety Matrix (SSM) construction technique, which will be phased into the entire range over coming months.

Among a host of standard features, Haines Hunter's Limited Series incorporates upgraded horsepower ratings to 230hp on the 585R, 260hp on the 600R, and a whopping 300hp (single) on the 650R; an extended gelcoat colour range; limited edition graphics with striking chrome Haines Hunter badges; Rockford Fosgate touch screen stereo system with waterproof speakers (exclusive to Haines Hunter); SeaDek flooring; and specially numbered hulls, each with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Check out all these new Haines Hunter models on New World Honda Marine's and Port Phillip Boating Centre's exhibits at the show!
