The dearth of new trailer yachts in New Zealand is coming to an end with the launching in New Zealand two weeks ago of the D8, the new 8m lifting keel sport cruiser built in Nelson by Dickson Marine.
From the board of Craig Loomes this versatile little yacht is designed for performance which she certainly delivered coming second on her first outing in Division One of the Vinings Summer series in Nelson last week. Expect to see more good results like that!.
It is expected she will be popular with families with her roomy interior and exterior as well as her great form stability yet at the same time being able to deliver thrills for the competitive club racer.
