This year with pleasant light breezes, the good company and boats, spread out across the stunning Bay of Islands course to finish up at the Russell Boating Club's prize giving and Hangi.
With northland on high fire alert special care was exercised this year monitoring the hangi fires as they prepared for the evening feast.
