29er World Championship - Danes hang onto the lead

by Sail-World.com on 6 Jan 2010
2010 29er Worlds, Day 3 Fried Elliott http://www.friedbits.com

At the 29er Worlds beng sailed at Grand Bahama Island, Oscar Haumann and Klaus Holtug of Denmark managed a bullet and a third today in challenging conditions.

Kevin Fisher and Glenn Gouron from France managed two fourth places today, to be second on the leaderboard. The Italians Lorenzo Franceschini and Riccardo Camin are third.

High winds meant that today's racing was spectacular.

Racing continues tomorrow with 3 races scheduled. Similar breeze to today is predicted for tomorrow, so more exciting sailing should be on the cards.
