The big end of the fleet meets the little end - Catalina Yachts Lake Macquarie Rendezvous Rod Mackay

Catalina Yachts Australia Lake Macquarie Rendezvous (# 5) will be held from January 8-10, 2010 at Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto . This regatta is for the owners and guests of Catalina Yachts who have gotten over the silly season and will look forward to sailing on beautiful Lake Macquarie for some fun and sun.

The itinerary is as follows:

Gather at Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto on Friday, January 8 (Marina pens and moorings can be arranged)

Fun (non-spinnaker) race/sail past around the cans on the Saturday afternoon.

Informal get-together at Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto Friday night, and prize presentation/dinner Saturday night, at the 'Toronto Bay Bistro' restaurant on site at the club. There will be some great trophies donated by Club Marine, Yanmar Diesels , North Sails , RMYC Toronto and assorted other sponsors with some lucky door prizes.

Leisurely cruise down the Lake on Sunday (January 10) and raft up at Styles Point for those who wish to come along. An overnight extension of this raft up is being planned by some and should be fun like last year!
