Rabdan makes its entrance to Yas Marina in time for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the end of October. MIAA
The Royal Yacht, MY Rabdan is the first vessel to drop anchor at Yas Marina in the heart of the Yas Marina Circuit which will host the inaugural Formula 1™ Eithad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, October 30 to November 1, 2009.

The crew of Yas Marina, Aldar’s flagship Marina on Yas Island, received the 73metre motor yacht built by Hanseatic Marine of Australia into its berth where it will remain for the race later this month.

The berths in Yas Marina are adjacent to the race track and will offer vessels moored there unique track views at this spectacular inaugural event. Nearly 5,000 people are expected to view the race from the decks of regional and international vessels berthed in the Marina.

Areej Al Naqbi, Director of Business Development and Non Core Operations at Aldar Properties, commented:

The Defender is unlikely to soften the Rules and allow open season on its sailing team.
