Intact Insurance supports Canadian youth performance in sailing

Intact Insurance was the presenting sponsor of the Youth Sailing Championships that were held in 2008 in Halifax, Nova Scotia', says Phil Wynne, Regional Vice President, Vancouver Island. 'We’re happy we can continue to support these prestigious youth sailing events.'

The CYA Canadian Youth Championships and CODA Canadian Optimist Dinghy Championships bring together the best sailors aged 18 and under from across Canada in two major regattas. During these week long events, participants have the opportunity to qualify for positions on the Youth National Sailing Team and the National Optimist Dinghy Team Sailing Team.

The CYA Youth National Sailing Championships race days will run August 3rd -6th, 2009. Registration closes July 24th.

The Canadian Optimist Dinghy Championships will be held from Sunday August 23 to Friday August 28, 2009. Early bird registration ends July 15th.
