Sandy Branch Bendigo Bank sponsor Sail Melbourne

by Emkay Events & PR for Yachting Victoria on 5 Dec 2008
SW
ISAF Sailing World Cup organisers, Sail Melbourne, are thrilled to announce Sandringham Community Bank Branch Bendigo Bank’s sponsorship of the event for 2008.

Sandringham’s Community Branch of the Bendigo Bank has initiated what it hopes will be a long and successful relationship with the ISAF Sailing World Cup at Sandringham Yacht Club.

'Bendigo Community Banks are all about giving back to the community and being involved in and supporting their own neighborhood,' said Sandringham Community Bank Branch Chairperson Renate Lange.

'We at the Sandringham Community Bank Branch recognise the significance of this event within the community, the business it generates in our area and as such are very keen to help where we can,' Ms Lange added.

Yachting Victoria is very excited by the new partnership and appreciates the generous support of the local community
for the event.

'The World Cup is about elite sailors but it’s also about local community involvement and to have the benchmark Community Bank - Sandringham Bendigo Bank branch on board, it very exciting,' Yachting Victoria CEO Ross Kilborn said.

The inaugural ISAF Sailing World Cup will feature past and present Olympic sailors and be held at Sandringham Yacht Club from December 16-21.
