Simpson Marine Sea Ray Singapore Promotion

by Simpson Marine on 26 Nov 2008
Sea Ray 230 Simpson Marine
A wide selection of Sea Ray sports boat and cruiser models will grace ONE 15 Marina Club over the weekend 13-14 December 2008 to highlight the available range of popular Sea Ray models in the region, and present some exciting year-end promotions.

On showcase throughout the two-day event will be models ranging from 18 to 47ft, including the sleek 230 Select (23ft) wakeboarding unit, and, brand-new to Singapore, 330 Sundancer (35ft) model – in addition to sporty day-cruising options, weekend single-cabin models, and luxury long distance cruisers.

Sea Ray, the world’s largest manufacturer of superior quality leisure boats from 17 to 70 feet, offer boats with excellent handling capabilities that range from small sport boats up to luxury sport yachts.

ONE 15 Marina Club, located in the prestigious Sentosa Cove enclave on Sentosa Island, will be in the spotlight over the December weekend event, from 1000 to 2000 hrs, during which regional Simpson Marine staff from Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia will be on hand to answer all boating enquiries.

According to Simon Turner, General Manager of Simpson Marine Singapore/Malaysia, the approaching boat show will be a great platform for novice boat buyers to understand more about the marine industry, and what is available in Singapore. 'This is a great opportunity to view the vessels first-hand and explore the different options, whether they be the sporty wakeboarding boat, or the leisurely weekend cruising boat, and, furthermore, all concerns and enquiries can be dealt with on the spot.'

In addition to the Sea Ray boats on display, Simpson Marine representatives will be available throughout the weekend to discuss the various steps leading up to the ownership of a boat. 'We hope to highlight what boating in Singapore has to offer, what permits are needed, including the PPCDL, and what can be done in the local and neighbouring waters, since the region is ideal for cruising.'

Various yachting events such as the upcoming King’s Cup Regatta in Thailand, the Volvo Ocean Race stop-off in Singapore in January ‘09, and Boat Asia in April ‘09 continue to fuel the interest in boating in the region. 'Notwithstanding the current economic situation and slow down, the boating industry remains active,' adds Turner.
