XSMG XSR48 Luxury Powerboat XS Marine Group http://www.xsmgworld.com/
The XSR48, from XS Marine Group based in Berthon Shipyard in Lymington, UK, was designed to be a supercar for the water. The DNA of supercars, right down to the dashboard, was studied and then translated to be used for marine purposes.

Over 55,000 man hours went into the design and development of the XSR48, with designers, naval architects, craftsmen and engineers exploring every aspect of the hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, aesthetics, ergonomics, propulsion, power and performance.

Power for the XSR48 comes from a variety of engines, including both diesel and petrol models. Power outputs range from 1410 hp all the way up to 2400 horsepower. The XSR48 also makes use of a ZF two-speed gearbox and ZF Trimax surface-drive propulsion system and STAB stabalisiation. Depending on the engine choice, the XSR48 is capable of speeds at upwards of eighty five knots (158 kilometers per hour).

The XSR48 was developed in collaboration with a number of world class design and construction partners including legendary hull designer Fabio Buzzi, award winning superyacht designers Redman Whiteley Dixon and High Modulus the world?s leading exponent in composite marine structures. The hull is formed from Kevlar and carbon fibres with cross linked pvc cores bonded using vinylester and epoxy resins.
