Do you dream about sailing around the beautiful Whitsunday islands but don’t have the experience to charter a yacht?

Australia’s leading sailing holiday company, Sunsail Yacht Charters, offers an exciting package especially designed for people who just want to sit back, relax and take in the stunning scenery of the Whitsunday islands.

The ‘Luxury Crewed Cruise’ is three days and three nights of total bliss aboard a luxury 46 foot catamaran.

An experienced skipper takes you to all the best bays and snorkelling spots, while a hostess/chef cooks all the gourmet meals and snacks and serves you beverages all day.

With four spacious double cabins – all with en suite toilet and shower – the Luxury Crewed Cruise does not compromise on comfort or privacy. A maximum of eight guests ensures attentive service throughout the trip.

Sunsail Marketing Manager Kim Lehmann said Sunsail introduced the Luxury Crewed Cruise in response to demand for a totally relaxing sailing holiday.

'We don’t see why people who cannot sail should miss out on cruising around the magnificent Whitsunday islands, which are renowned for their safe sailing, protected anchorages, stunning scenery and amazing marine life,' she said.

The cruise anchors in a different spot each night, allowing guests to see as much as possible of the Whitsundays.

The skipper’s local knowledge ensures guests visit all the hot spots, as well as those that are less well known but equally beautiful.

The catamaran comes equipped with a kayak, so guests can paddle off and explore the islands, as well as a motorised rubber dinghy so guests can be dropped off on the islands to go bushwalking. Snorkelling gear is also provided as part of the package.

At just $1,400 per person twin share including all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, the Luxury Crewed Cruise is a fantastic option that is also great value for a yachting holiday.

For a limited selection of dates, Sunsail is offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the Luxury Crewed Cruise experience at a fantastic 20% discount*.

The applicable dates of departure are as follows:

24 October 2008
31 October 2008
7 November 2008
28 November 2008

Sunsail Yacht Charters is based on Hamilton Island making it ideally located for sailors to explore the 74 Whitsunday Islands lying off the coast of tropical north Queensland.

Jetstar, Virginblue and Qantaslink flights arrive and depart from Hamilton Island’s Great Barrier Reef Airport every day from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Cairns.
