Map My Tracks web live tracking and analysis tools Simon Wakeman
Sportsmen and women from more than 60 countries have already mapped live sports tracks using the Map My Tracks service. Now it costs less than ever to track your sporting activities with the introduction of simplified pricing from Map My Tracks.

The Map My Tracks service turns a mobile phone with built-in GPS or with an external GPS receiver into a live GPS tracking device. It's ideal for sports like running, cycling, sailing and motorsport. The service is now free for up to one hour of live tracking each month or just £5.99 each month for unlimited tracking.

Map My Tracks founder Nick Tatt said 'We're delighted thousands of sportsmen and women have downloaded Map My Tracks to their mobile phones. Our new pricing means it's still free to try out the service, and it costs less than before to track as often as you like.'

As well as displaying a sporting track live on the internet, Map My Tracks also provides live performance information, including speed, headings and distances, on the handset as you track. Users have complete privacy control to allow tracks to be shared or kept private as needed. Tracks can be replayed on the Map My Tracks website with more detailed mapping and analytical tools. Sailors can also make comparisons between tracks and simultaneous replays to help analyse their performances more effectively.

Tracks can also be embedded into blogs and other websites to show off sailing performances. Map My Tracks also provides automatic GeoRSS feeds to help you publish your location on the internet and mash up tracks with other data sources.

Map My Tracks launched in February 2008 and has already been used by thousands of sailors, runners, cyclists and walkers to map their sporting tracks and publish them live on the web. Map My Tracks is a service from Tinderhouse - a Whitstable UK based award winning online web design and development agency that specialises in providing innovative mobile applications and accessible web communication solutions.
