OSG Racings Giancarlo Cangiano is looking for more silverware in 2008 Powerboat P1 World Championship http://www.powerboatp1.com
Former Powerboat P1 Evolution class team OSG Racing has unveiled its two-pronged assault on the championship this year, with boats entered in both the Evolution and SuperSport class.

The outfit’s #88 Kiton Outerlimits Evolution class boat will be technically supported by US performance boat manufacturer Outerlimits and will be sponsored by luxury men’s clothing manufacturer Kiton. OSG Racing team owner Giancarlo Cangiano will once again act as throttleman for the Sterling-powered boat, while experienced Outerlimits pilot Joe Sgro – who crewed the #97 Lucas Oil Outerlimits boat in 2007, will once again take the wheel.

The [#88 Kiton Outerlimits] OSG Racing team has lined up a number of other heavyweight sponsors alongside luxury men’s clothing manufacturer Kiton for 2008. The boat will also be backed by maritime transport company SNAV, road and rail transport company European Logistic Hub, dried fruit food specialists Besana, leather accessories manufacturer Tramontano, racing equipment manufacturer Sparco, marine upholstery specialist Soft Marine and the Naples Yacht Club.

OSG will also extend its programme back into the SuperSport class for 2008, with the Mercury-powered #38 BAIA High Performance OSG Donzi hull. The SuperSport boat will be piloted by an all-Italian team of owner and throttleman Renato Guidi, pilot Stefano Acanfora and navigator Roy Capasso. Team manager will be Marcello Zanardi.
