With only a month to go, the 20th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will offer a world-class display with more than 100 world and Australian marine product launches.

The 2008 show has 445 confirmed exhibitors booked for on-water, pavilion and open air displays.

There are more than 390 boats on water alone, stretching 5.1km when placed end-to-end plus hundreds more boats and marine products through four large pavilions and in the waterfront Marine Village hardstand areas.

This year visitors can view a series of pagodas in the Rotunda Garden next to the Super Yacht pavilion and there will be a Mustang Marine display at Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove lagoon pool.

This year, the Show has exhibitors from China, Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia while many senior marine executives from Asia, the US and Europe are attending the event.

In just some of the world releases: Activa Marina is launching a 5300 Raised Pilothouse; Ocean Force is releasing the OceanForce 54, a pilot house motor yacht while Maritimo is displaying new boats including the Cabriolet 60, the Maritimo 50 Sport Fish and the Maritimo 48 Sky Lounge.

New sail models include the Catalina Morgan 440; the Hunter 45DS and new French catamarans such as Nautitech’s N40. Visitors can enjoy seminars from leading yachting companies such as Seawind Catamarans and Bavaria Yachts Australia at their respective displays.

Smaller power boat launches are plentiful with Australian debuts of the Back Cove 33, Beneteau Monte Carlo 32 Open and The Haines Group’s launch of the Signature 542F. World launches include the Pegiva Eclipse, Powercat 3000 Sports Fisherman and the Gold Coast manufactured Seatime.

In new developments for the 20th anniversary Show, Sanctuary Cove has launched an online Boat Show admission ticket facility. Visitors can purchase One-Day or Four-Day passes directly from the website of www.sanctuarycoveboatshow.com.au or buy through Oztix on 1300 762 545.

Admission prices are $A22 adults, $A19 concession and $A8 children (5 – 14 years) with children under 5 years free. Concessions must show concession ID.

Four-Day passes cost $A44 adults, $A38 concession and $A16 children (5 – 14 years). All prices include GST. (Booking and credit card fees apply for all online bookings. For full terms and conditions view the website).

Four-Day passes are ONLY available pre-purchased on line or through Oztix. However One-Day passes can be purchased during Boat Show dates at Parklands showgrounds or on entry to the resort via water taxi, ferry, limousine, bus or taxi drop off.

As in past years, there is no public parking on site during the Show. However there are streamlined transport options to reach the show which are quick, easy and take the hassle out of traveling.

Park ‘n’ Ride – Park at Parklands (Gold Coast Showgrounds) off the Smith Street Motorway or take Exit 66 from the Pacific Motorway. Buy your admission (or pre-purchase off the internet) and your admission ticket covers parking, return bus to and from the Show and Boat Show entry.

Taxi and limousine drop offs are permitted with admission payment on entry to Sanctuary Cove.

Sanctuary Cove marina is closed during the Show. Private boat owners may moor in the Coomera Rivera and use the Volunteer Marine Rescue service ferry pick up to the marina with an Australian currency gold coin donation. You can pay your Boat Show admission on entry.

There are water taxi and ferry services to the Show, while Surfside bus service operates a bus service from the Gold Coast and the Helensvale train option is easy. For full details, terms and conditions view www.sanctuarycoveboatshow.com.au
