The National Maritime Museum, at Darling Harbour, will be offering several special attractions on Australia Day (Saturday, 26 January)…
Admission to the destroyer HMAS Vampire will be heavily discounted to $2 per adult, $1 per child/concession, or $5 per family (2 adults + 4 kids) – that’s more than 85% off the usual price! Entry to the museum is free.
· The museum’s exhibitions will be open free of charge… as usual! Don’t miss Iceman – the story of Ötzi, a fascinating exhibition about a 5,300 year old neolithic mummy discovered in the Italian Alps.
· There will be free screenings of the BBC docudrama The Iceman Murders in the museum’s theatre at 11.00 am, 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm.
· PLUS free live music and entertainment around the museum all day.
The Australian National Maritime Museum, at Darling Harbour, will be open 9.30 am to 6.00 pm on Australia Day. It’s a short walk from the city across Pyrmont Bridge, or you can catch a Sydney Ferry to Pyrmont Bay, the monorail to Harbourside or the Light Rail to Pyrmont Bay.
