New headquarters for Navico

by Ben Sandman on 5 Nov 2007
The Australian division of global marine electronics giant Navico has centralised its regional distribution following the purchase of a further three brands earlier this year.

The new Sydney premises is now the company’s Asia-Pacific Central Warehouse and houses Navico brands including Eagle, Lowrance, Simrad, Navman and Northstar.

Navico Australia’s director of sales and marketing Damien Weber said the shift was necessary to consolidate company operations and to better serve its extensive dealer network.

'Having all our brands under one roof will significantly streamline our operations and it will allow us to improve the level of service we provide,' Mr Weber said.

'We now have more staff in customer service, sales and technical support fields than ever before, and we’re also implementing a new phone system to ensure our callers receive timely service.'

To further facilitate the growth of Navico’s customer service division, Lance Smith – a Senior Customer Service Technician from Lowrance and Eagle’s US headquarters – has relocated to Australia for a period of six to 12 months, to provide targeted training and support for the Australian team.

Navico Australia’s new contact details are:
Unit 5, 12 Mars Road
Lane Cove NSW 2066
Tel: (02) 9936 1000
Fax: (02) 9936 1001
Toll Free: 1300 NAVICO (1300 628 426)

Navico’s new Australian headquarters will continue to be supported by a small sales office on the Gold Coast.
