by Jane Pares, IMB on 3 Sep 2007
Bavaria 38 Cruiser will be easy to sail – coming with six winches as standard International Marine Brokers New Zealand www.internationalmarine.co.nz
This spacious new yacht is available with a choice of two or three cabin layouts and sets new standards for similar sized boats. The three cabin layout offers up to eight berths and there is plenty of headroom even for the tallest crew!

Combining classical elegance with modern equipment and functionality it replaces the Bavaria 37 and will appeal to those looking for a comfortable performance cruiser to thrill around the cans in the harbour as well as happily taking the family offshore.

A light and airy feel down below is created by seven windows and hatches that can be opened in the saloon. The traditional L-shaped galley beside the companionway now comes with a microwave oven as standard, and a spacious new drawer fits neatly under the forward cabin bed increasing storage capacity.

A good sized cockpit with 2.50m cockpit benches and an electronically lowered transom hatch with bathing ladder makes on-deck entertaining fun and easy.

This is a well equipped yacht that will be easy to sail – coming with six winches as standard.

The first new Bavaria 38 Cruiser is on order and due to arrive in NZ in Jan 2008.
