Awesome racing at CORK Classes Regatta
by Erika Vines on 27 Aug 2007
The CORK Classes Regatta was definitely not a 'fair weather affair'- but there is no doubt the racing conditions were awesome!
In the words of one of the mark setters, Mary Wilson 'it wasn’t that cold - just very wet at times!'
With thunderstorms and showers abound, racers were exposed to heavy breeze from Thursday to Saturday, and then on the last regatta day - tricky northerly conditions.
Both the 49er and RSX Olympic class events raced for four days alongside the International 110 keelboat. The Flying Dutchman, International 505, and Contender raced Friday to Sunday.
