The Wolverines are an Australian country rock and are certainly the Australian sailing communitys favourite band.

Drummer John Clinton is the skipper of the Beneteau Oceanis 523 Holy Cow! with the friesan cow hide patterned headsail from her predecessor 'Boardroom'. She has a new 'moo! and she's racing at Audi Hamilton Island race Week.

On the Tuesday layday the Wolverines played a day time gig in front of the Marina Tavern at Hamilton Island's Race Week.

The band features Darcy Le Year on lead vocals and guitar, Chris Doyle on keyboards and John Clinton on drums. Since forming in 1994 the award-winning Wolverines – they have won a string of accolades including an ARIA.

Mark O'Brien's cartoons are featuring daily for the duration of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The New Zealander started drawing race cartoons in 1990 when the Whitbread Round the World fleet arrived in Auckland and has never looked back. This year Sail-World featured his great cartoons of the America's Cup.
