World Ski Race titles feature Junior Miss Universe

by Bob Wonders on 10 Apr 2007 Lauren Eagle, not only a top class ski racer, but named recently Junior Miss Universe, is one of many fine tuning for the 2007 World Ski Race championships in New Zealand next month.

The titles will be held on Lake Rotorua and Lake Taupo during May 10 – 19.
Lauren will race in the Women’s F1 class behind the Force F21 currently being rigged with a Stuart Thomas twin turbo 540 cu in big block Chevrolet race engine.

It will deliver its brute power to the water via a Race Marine Mercury Six drive and will be capable of speeds well above 160km/hr (100mph).

The championships have attracted entries from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Spain, Great Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, Italy and Austria.
