'Giovanni is a highly respected throttleman in the P1 fleet and I am honoured to be racing with him this season,' says Giancarlo.

'I want to prove that winning the championship in 2006 wasn't a one-off so we are preparing the boat and ourselves for a very tough but hopefully successful season.'
