The Bavaria Yacht Factory has announced a new Vision 40 - two cabin version.

'Due to increasing demand, we decided to provide our customers with a two-cabin version of the Bavaria 40 Vision.

It will have the same hull, deck and cockpit layout as the three-cabin version. Also the technical details, basic price and options of both versions will be the same.'

Additional features to the three cabin version: -

• considerably larger head
• separate shower (80cm x 80cm)
• very large cockpit locker
• larger bed in the aft-cabin

[Sorry, this content could not be displayed] A new hull design and significantly enlarged sail area has resulted in increased speeds. Standard features include lead keel, spinnaker winches, twin steering wheels, spacious galley with ice box and large fridge, drawers under the forepeak bed and many more high quality components. The over 2m long deck saloon windows coupled with attractive upholstery and plenty of storage space, impart a sense of spacious luxury as if on a much larger boat.

Specs
Hull length 11.99m
Beam 3.99m
Draft 1.75m (opt 2.10)
Sail area approx 98m2
Engine VolvoD2-40, 40hp

This new two cabin version will be available from April 2007

The Bavaria Vision series, which compliments the Bavaria Cruiser range, was launched last year and two of the Vision 44s are already here in New Zealand.
