International Marine Brokers was very happy to see the first Bavaria 44 Vision come off the wharf today and into the Viaduct Harbour Marine Village for commissioning.
She has been bought by Neil Stanley, who has upgraded from a Bavaria 38 Cruiser. Neil is currently working in Germany, but returns to NZ for the summer to spend time sailing his new boat. He visited the Bavaria Factory in early October with Norman Gee of International Marine Brokers and was able to go aboard her. He was delighted with what he saw and is really looking forward to getting her out on the water.
She’s the middle model in the new range of Bavaria Vision Yachts, the others being a V40 and a V50. New hull designs and significantly enlarged sail areas have been designed to reward with increased speeds. Standard Features include a lead keel, spinnaker winches, twin steering wheels, solar powered stainless steel vents, a return to the classic L shaped galley beside the companionway with ice box and large fridge, large deck saloon windows and attractive upholstery which impart a sense of spacious luxury normally associated with a much larger boat.
Another Vision 44 is already on order through International Marine Brokers and is due to arrive in the New Year.
