Ian Martin & Ben McGrane - Winners GUL RS800 Nationals 2006 RS800

Ian Martin and Ben McGrane (Rooster Sailing) won the 2006 GUL RS800 National Championship with a flourish. The pair from Burghfield SC finished as they started - winning races.

Winning 13 of the 16 races in one of the toughest sailing weeks experienced by the class, the pair were chased all the way by Steve Irish and Martin Gotrel (Magic Marine).

Third overall were Andy Bryson and Jony Clegg from Netley SC who never dropped below third in the last two days races.
